Behind The Creation

Kako Omiya · Grand Palace Low Smoke

Omiya, known as the Grand Palace, refers to the Shinto shrines found around Japan, typically representing the prominent or central shrine of a particular region. Interestingly, it is also the name of a district located in Saitama City, Japan. Derived from the original formulation dating back to 1926, Kako Omiya features an additional note of Japanese Cypress, also known as Hinoki, resulting in a softer and invigorating fragrance. Moreover, Kako Omiya replaces the traditional incense base of its predecessor with a Charcoal foundation, resulting in significantly lower smoke emissions, making it suitable for smaller spaces.
