Behind The Creation

Agarwood Harmony · Jinko Wakyo

Native to the Indochina Peninsula, Siam Agarwood exhibits remarkable olfactory characteristics, defined by its balsamic-woody quality and smoky, animalic nuances. Known as Jinko in Japanese, Agarwood is a raw material of limited availability, predominantly reserved for occasional aromatic indulgence. To render it viable for more frequent enjoyment, Jinko is supplemented with a measured quantity of Sandalwood, forming a hybrid woody foundation. Embracing its namesake, Shorindo juxtaposes ingredients with opposing profiles to form a fragrant equilibrium, exuding peace and harmonious aura.
