Behind The Creation

Agarwood Calming · Jinko Nagomi

Siamese Agarwood, or Syamu Jinko, denotes an Agarwood variant native to the Indochina Peninsula, mainly Thailand and Cambodia, known for its sweet and ambery profile. Like its counterparts, Syamu Jinko is obtained from the resinous wood of the Aquilaria tree, produced in response to natural fungal infection, containing bioactive compounds with antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Thus, Jinko is utilised for both its aesthetics and its potential aromatherapeutic effects in Shorindo’s Agarwood Calming.
