Behind The Creation

Agarwood Healing · Jinko Iyashi

Indonesian Agarwood, or Tani Jinko, is a prevalent Agarwood variant employed in Japanese incense, often known for its dry, bitter edges. Similar to other types of Agarwood, Tani Jinko is derived from the resinous wood of the Aquilaria tree, produced in response to natural fungal infection, containing bioactive compounds with antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Thus, Jinko is utilised for both its aesthetics and its potential aromatherapeutic effects in Shorindo’s Agarwood Healing.
